hi there here go's today when i went to turn on my mirror heating switch the central locking went up and the interior lights came on does anyone know what this could be thanks

Check the wiring to the door, it sometimes breaks.

its not the carpet i unblocked the drain holes in the summer maybe its the wiring where abouts do i need to check it thanks

Don't assume the drains are clear just because you cleaned them over the summer. They can block in a short time, I check mine every week. :mad:
Check the wiring where it goes between the door and the pillar, where it gets comressed each time the door's open.

will check the drain holes and wiring tomorrow thanks for the advice will post here if i fix it

This type of problem is usually caused by a bad earth. If you get a fault code read it might give you a hint. could save hours of searching. Failing that it's lots of trim out to search and test the wires.
