A8 sound system

Hi Peeps this is my first post, ive just bought a 2005 facelift A8L tdi and i have the standard sound system in it. just wondering if a subwoofer was fitted as standard as my car does not have a subwoofer in it. also does anyone know the pin data on the amplifier as i do have the subwoofer control on the menu setup so im assuming i could tap into the amp to fit the sub, any help would be gratefully appreciated.
oh forgot to mension i have the mmi system with tv tuner and bluetooth fitted

Hey, I have spent a bit of time - or should I say time wasting with tweaking the sub my beloved 06 A8. Truth being that I moved from a previous Audi using BOSE and just didnt feel the right boom I was expecting in the standard system, Anyway on the A8 - in the rear parcel shelf in the centre I have a grill underneath that sites a surface mounted sub unit - the one I had in the car I found kept popping and even though I had that replaced under warranty it kept popping so I threw it out and had another surface mount sub fitted a nice 10" one which does compromise my boot storage capacity of large objects .... anyway that sub too with the standard MMI amp etc is not powerful enough, so before you think about tinkering with the sub - I would also invest in a dedicated AMP perhaps for the sub.

I'm no car audio specialist - this is what I have concluded from the money I've spent on the sub effort thus far :!:biglaugh:
