golf mk3 cd memory

Hi, New to site. Can anyone tell me how to set up my jvc stereo in my mk3 golf so thats its memory works. At the moment I have to reset radio stations and cd always starts at the beginning. Any help appreciated, thanks gavin

You need to switch the lives. There is two +12V supplies one constant and one from the ignition supply. These need to be switched. There may be a couple of bullet connectors on the JVC wiring loom to enable you to do this. Usually red nad green wires I think. If you can send me some pictures if this doesn work.
