Alarm keeps going off!!

The alarm keeps going off. If I click the button onece, or twice it still happens. The only way it won't go off is if I leave it unlocked.

Can any one help?

Smething is triggering the alarm.
Try opening and closing all doors, bonnet and boot.
Get a scan done this will tell you what is setting it off.

Try pressing the buttons beside the drivers seat underneath the seatbelt before you lock the car. One should disable the ultrasonics and the other disable the tilt sensor. See which, if any stops the false alarms. (These buttons only work for one lock-cycle so you'll have to repeatedly keep pressing them before each locking) If one of them does stop the false alarms, it suggests that sensor is faulty.

Just an update... The car went to vw and they said it was the a left hand wiring loom fault and about 2k to fix. So the garage he bought it off took it back and auctioned it.
