About 40mm if you have standard suspension, less if you allready have sport suspension. Either way, the car is gonna look much better. If you use aftermarket lowering springs, go for good names as Eibach, H&R, Veitec, etc. and get new shocks and helper springs/bump stops as well...

Hi, I've just joined forum and have same car you have. Looking to get 18inchers and was wondering about spacers/offsets etc. Car is currently standard suspension... Any help appreciated. Probably going to get replica S4 wheels.

just to let you know, i have same car (A4 B5 2.6 v6) and i'm running wide 20" wheels on standard audi sports suspension no problems. the arches on these cars are pretty big by all accounts so 18's will cause you no issues what so ever, as long as you don't drop it to the floor that is!

If you wanna see for yourself i've posted two pics in the gallery section.

Nice one! Cheers for that, it's good to know you've already done it with 20's. I'm guessing wherever I buy the wheels from will sort the offset etc... Thanks

yea, as long as you can quote year, model etc... most if not all wheel companies will know the best fit for your car. leave it to the experts if your unsure yourself

Top man! Really appreciate the help - I don't want to mess up the car or whatever wheels I get by fitting the wrong thing. I'll post a pic when I'm done. Cheers
