Ok its hunting on idle and loss of power.

1: Changed all 4 spark plugs.

2: Put on Vag com no codes.

3: Had compression test done and ok.

4: Full service.

5: New coolant sensor.

If i take off coil plug No. 2 it makes no difference, but if i unplug 1,3 or 4 it does so i suspected coil pack 2, changed it in local parts shop but did nothing so took it back for refund after they swapped it twice as it didnt improve.
So i unplugged all 4 plugs that go into coils (3 pin connectors) got me multi meter on em and pins 1 & 2 voltage of 14.2 volts on all 4, so went on and tested pin 3 in all 4 plugs for voltage and 1,3 & 4 showed voltage of about 0.53 and plug 2 was 0.00....?
So does this prove that plug/lead 2 is at fault or is there else where i should be looking....?

So you suggest it could be the Ignition Control Module that sits on top of air filter box, it has 2 leads 1 either side... Do the 2 leads split in to 2 to feed the 4 coils...?
So its either one of the leads as no. 2 has no spark or its the control module then...?
Why hasnt Vagcom picked up this problem...?
