Hi All

My wife's GT TDI rear wiper motor has stopped working. I can get voltage from the connection across wires 1 to 3 &4 but nothing from wire 2. (connection has numbers on it).

Also noticed that the high level brake light has stopped working. Other lights mounted in the tailgate work fine as do the normal brake lights.

Relays and fuses all OK. Other than a broken wire any other ideas?

check wiring in little boot from roof to tailgate wires break

Thanks - I will do that next (sadly I was at -6 C) when I took the tailgate cover off to check the motor and at 10pm at night outside!! Mad but can't stand not seeing behind when reversing.

With a broken wire is it best to resolder insulate using heatshrink

lengthen wire either solder/insulate or heatshrink
