Easy now guyz, i've just bought a silver Golf 2005 GT TDI 140 BHP but have noticed a wierd knocking sound when doing clutch control..its kinda hard to explain but here goes...when im doing clutch control on a hill and holding the car still at the biting point...if i now *rev* the engine at the same time (i hope this makes sense!) i can feel and hear the knocking sound coming from the front bottom part of the car. The sound itself can be described more like a heavy rolling sound. I took it to VW but they cant find anything wrong with it but its just annoying i knw its there..!! The sound can only be heard when doing clutch control on a hill but the car drives fine and have no other probs.
I aint very technical when it comes to carz (as you might 'av guessed!), and any advice will be appreciated! cheers guyz, mo
