Hi, Can anybody help me with engine error: 17058(P0674-shift soleniod E intemittent.This is a reoccuring error. Engine on occasion will not rev-out .What is the shift soleniod in question ? Is this a common fault & what do I need to do to repair the fault ?:confused:

The thing is Bruce, that engine should not generate that code, he was using a Snap On Ethos.

I looked at his description and I looked at the code description and wondered.....

Seems like he needs to get a better VAG compliant tool in his hands.
