My 1.4 Polo battery keep losing its charge. Two separate garages have checked the battery which is OK. I have checked for boot light and other electrics left on. The only other option I have read about is faulty Alternator diodes, which may be causing current leakage when engine is off. Can anyone help me to diagnose this?
Which is the alternator fuse - on top of battery?
Can the diodes be easily tested and/or replaced?
