Telling us what car you have might help a little bit?

How low is low MPG? Have you looked at the MAF sensor?

And if so don't ever fit a Bosch one, you must go genuine. The others simply don't work.

Hi Issac thanks or getting back to me. The car is a bora 130 tdi 53 plate. I was suffering from low lpg the glow plug was flashing error codes were for brake position switch and eng temp switch. Replaced both with genuine vw parts myself the glow plug reset itself and the mpg went right up again 6 weeks later and im only getting 46mpg on the motorway doing 70 mph i was getting between 58/62mpg 6 weeks ago the car is driving fast with no problems i thought from what ive read on the forums if the maf was on its way out, then the engine performance would suffer or change but as ive no experience im probably wrong thanks for your help.

No more fault codes?

I only get 46 anyway, but its a heavy A6, not a light, nimble Bora.
