Hello Guys
Washed my golf Mk 4 today to get all that salt off and noticed that when I open the rear door and tried to close it, it wasn't catching on the safety latch. When I tried to shut the door I had to slam it really hard before it would stay shut. I've given the lock a spray with WD40 in case dirt has got in. Any ideas what may have caused it or is something more costly about to happen? I know VW has a terrible reputation with locks.
Any advice would be appreciated
