RCD 300 Not lighting up Anymore

Hi,
all Just to ask if there is something I am missing? The light on the radio wouldn't go off but now the light won't come on have I blown a fuse that I can't get to as the fuse in the engine bay isn't blown and the radio is working.

Really annoying and also do you know if it might be related to my dimmer / headlight adjustment switch not working. I am going to see if I can get a new one from the vw garage.

Do the vw garage need to reset it again?

Hi Phortys, I know its a long time ago, but did you ever sort out the radio illumination/ dimmer issue, I have the same problem on my 05 1.9tdi SE, we have the full VW warranty to fall back on, but is it a simple fix or should I be contacting the dealer.

To answer my own question, took car back to VW, they replaced the dimmer switch which looks to of fixed the problems. They also noticed a leak on the intercooler pipes and fixed that.
