Acctually thats a very good digital tuning box and unlike the "generic" maps it really does what it says on the box ! I've tried lots of remaps even custom ones and i was never happy like with the PSI Motorsport tunning box i have fitted on me v6 ! I really dont care about the Bhp increase as all generic remaps only seem to increase the Bhp and leave the torque fairly stock... On missus passat tdi i have also a tuning box and its rapid to say at least. Its smokes a bit at WOT but every diesel i know will do...The only thing to watch is the clutch with that box but, if you dont do drag racing it should/be ok ! I never push the car from stand- still just when in gear and the clutch pedal is not depresed. The v6 clutch is very strong and will cope with loads more abuse than the pd tdi clutch ! If you have a sport model with the 6speed box, thenm upgrading the clutch to a stronger SACHS unit will do the trick ! It has a stronger pressure plate for increased clamping force and the disc is lined with organic friction linings able to cope with over 550 Nm...

ive got a tuning box installed in my passat 2.5 tdi the box plugs into the pump itself and along with advancing the pump timing by 3 degrees the power and toque outweighs any remap available ALTHOUGH i recomend a remap and jabbasport remaps all day long.
if you are going to get the car remaped you must go for a rolling road remap as generic maps are a waste off money (in my own personal opp)

im going to contact them and ask exactly how it works. i dont want to pay good money for a penny resistor mod like those on ebay . thanks for the views.
