U281 Handheld Fault Code Reader

Does anyone know of a list of cars that these actually do or dont work on. I dont think it works on my 96P Sharan 2.0 Petrol.

One way is to find someone selling on Ebay a check thier listing,often give a good list of vehicals in the listing or ask the seller a question pretenting to want to buy, bet they reply then!!!!

i bought the vas5053 version of the u281 (memoscan) i updated it and it works well not as good as original vw product but does work on everything ive tried it on i got from ebay Talk To My Car

i bought a cheap code reader off ebay and it works perfectly on my 1996 audi a4,i have used it to read and clear codes n the airbag and engine,it does the transmission as well (autos only)
