hi,
I am a recent Proud owner of a Golf TSI 1.4 140bhp (56),
It dosent have a boost gauge like the 170bhp version, is the 170bhp a mechanical or electrical? can i fit an aftermarket one and run it back to where the 170 gets its reading from? Does anyone know where, surley the Masters at Forge :notworthy:notworthy know...?
Has anyone managed to fit a boost gauge for the 1.4 tsi engines yet?
Which Chip is best used? ive heard revo do one but ST3 (chip and spin) have switchable modes, which is best and why?
Do the TSI engines have an intercooler, does the air come in the airbox and then through the intercooler and into the intake. I was looking at FORGE's pictures (before installation of F's intercooler) of the TSI and it had a big silver cooler?? at the front, i was thinking this was the radiator, is this correct?
Forge, what does the Blow off valve do? Will there be any loss of power/psi?
