My 115bhp PD model car has done 106k miles. It drives very well. One thing i have noticed is that the gearchange is a tiny bit notchy. I am being a bit picky as it does change smoothly but sometimes needs a bit of a firm change, particularly into first. It does get a bit better when warmed up but is still a bit stiff. My question is, are they all like this? Would anyone recommend a change in the gear oil? What are the intervals and can anyone recommend the type of oil to use? The clutch bites quite high but seems to work properly.
