Hello

I am for a central locking vacuum pump for my Audi. The numbers on the current pump are as follows -

PPGF30

8BDO862257E

I001060799G

The vehicle ID no. is WAUZZZ8DZYA024004.

The current pump has 3 sets of wiring clubs that go in there.
If anyone can advise me of the best place to get this pump, please let me know.

Regards

Hi the central locking pump on my A4 Avant 2000 V reg has given up the ghost. The part I have is 8D0862257E I have been offered a replacement part that is part number 8LO 862 257, whcih I am told comes from another A4, no idea of model or year. Externally the part looks the same and connectors are the same. Can anybody tell me if this part will work in my A4 Avant, subject to the computerised key registration mentioned elsewhere in this thread. Cheers.

I have the same problems with my 97 A4 quattro. My part number is 8LO 862 257E and it has three plugs and two pipes connected to it. If you have the same then it should work. But you need to go to an garage that has the cumputer of and Audi agent to get the alarm reprogramed. But where did you fine your secondhand pump. I'm struggling to find parts in NZ.

In my Avant the central locking pump was situated in the boot pocket on the driver's side underneath the jack. The pump is encased in a rubber casing.
Hope this helps.

the central locking pump is located in the boot, on the right hand side, underneath the carpet, behind the panels-where the fuel cap is.

Agents quoted about $710

We found someone who does work for the agents - he did the whole job with 3 month gurantee for $170

I knowing that the agents were a rip-off . So nothing to loose I opened the pump. Found the rotors which are made of some carbon fibre type stuff to be severely damaged.

If I could find a source would have been quite easy to do
