tdi NORMAL running temp

what sort of normal operating temp should my recently purchased 97 110 tdi sit at???my wifes runs 85/90 all the time.my guage wont move over the 70 mark.loads of heat through the heater tho.any ideas:confused: :confused: or could somethine else be wrong:confused: :confused: :confused: also whilst im on the same sort of subject,wot about oil temp? wifes doesnt have an oil temp guage so i cant compare,my oil temp guage will never go over the 65 mark,is this normal??

hi normal temperature should be at 90 and oil temp on my car (1999 1.9 tdi) shows 65-85 depending on how fast i go hope that helps.
