Multi-function steering wheel and highline computer on mk5 golf gti

Can anyone help/advise. I am looking at changing my standard gti steering wheel for the multifunction equivalent and was wondering if i could change it without having the factory fit optional highline computer ?

Plus has anyone got one for sale or know where i can get one cheap as lowest price i have seen a brand new one for is £150.00. Thanks. :1zhelp:

Hi mate , I'm looking to do the same thing on my GTi. Did u manage to do it without any addons, is the wiring already there on GTi models?
