hi im new to all this i think im posting in the righ place,,,,
i have a 2006 passat i have all the tools to do the rear brakes pads on my passat with EPB. before i do this i wanted to know do i wind the piston back like we did on the older passat?

on some epb you need to use a scan tool to move the piston back, as yet i havent had the pleasure of replacing pads on a passat with epb

they are easy enough to do with the right tool,you will need a scan tool that can do the epb the instructions are on the ross tech web site,as long as the pads arent down to the steel you wont have a problem.........but if they are down to the steel then i hope you have a large piggy bank.......
