Scary alloys - how to protect

I have a new A4 quattro cabrio with beautiful 40 profile michelin rubber. The scary thing is how easy ity is to kerb the alloys. My last car was a seat with japanese rubber, but that had good rim protectors in the tyres that saved my alloys a number of times when parking.

Problem is the S4 is too quick for those according to the tyre spec. Happy to throw the new michelins if i can get the alloys protected, recommendations for high class 18 inch tyres with the best rim protectors ??

Toyo Proxes T1 - R are ZR rated so ok for your S4. Check them out on the Toyo web site http://www.toyo.co.uk/index.php or local tyre shop.
I have these fitted for the same reason you want them.
