18" alloys on a3 ?

Just looking at alloys for A3 2.0tdi se 2006 model i like the look of 18" but am leaning towards 17" for comfort does anyone know if the ride will be badly effected by 18" wheels i.e 225/18/40 over 225/17/45's Thanks:D

Yes the ride is harsher on 18’s but they look much better.

i friend of mine has 19" rs8s and lowered 40mm and still rides fine

hey, ive added a set of 18' to my A3 and found that with the 215\35\18 in give a bit of a harsh drive, but now switche over to 225\40\18 front and 235\40\18 back AND IM GETTING A PRETTY DEENT DRIVE, that would be with a 40mm drop and it looks great to:beerchug::biglaugh:
