HOWDEE.

CAN SOMEONE HELP ME? IVE GOT A X REG 2001 RARE AS F?@K ICE WHITE 1.8T QUATTRO. JUST RECENTLY DURING THE COLD SNAP STARTED IDLING FUNNY. I RECKON IT COUD BE THE MAF?? ANY IDEAS. GUTED AS WELL COZ I WAS GONNA REMAP IT BUT MIGHT HAVE TO GET IT FIXED FIRST!!! lol

HI mate thanks for the reply:o;

Im new to all this. Whats the script with the vagcom? i have bought a hand held diagnostic thingy off ebay for £20. They say its compatible so should get a fault code.

I dont think its anything major just a MAF sensor or could be a coil pack. Me girlfriend had the same probs with here renault scenic. Started off a bit lumpy when cold then got progressively worse.

Just hope its not anythin major bit strapped at the mo, guted as well coz i was gonna get it remapped. its the 180t version, should get about 225bhp stage 1 oh yeaah.

Also had some jipp with ESP light it works intermittantly some days the button works other days the warning light is on and the button doesnt work??????????

I should get the fault finder monday 22nd so i will post the fault code then so all may be clearer.

You might be able to help me out?

What VAG you got? You had any probs like this before?
