I am new to this site and I need a bit of advice. I have a 57 Audi TT 2.0. Within a week of the car being delivered the steering started to make a clicking noise. It has been in to the dealer three times. The top mounts have been replaced as has the steering rack. This has not cured the problem and the dealer is now saying it is just a characteristic of the car! I can't believe this is the case on a car of this quality! Has anyone out there experienced this problem and sorted it? I am also just about to replace the tyres for the first time. The rears are much more worn than the fronts. Is this normal on a front wheel drive car....? Any info would be much appreciated
