Hi,
I have a vw beetle, year 2000 , 2.0 man , petrol.
Problem - when stopping or after any reving of car, the cars revs drop to between the 1 and 0, and making the car stall or come close to it. all service is upto date etc.
the only thing i can think is, the engine management light is on, but i know how this happened, i by mistake pulled the bottom left hand 10amp fuse out while the car was running, which caused the car to stop, when i put it back in and started the car, the light was on.
so is there anything i can do? i have a scanner, u281 can/vw autoscanner, but when i ask it to scan, the progress bar comes up, moves along 3 bars, then get stuck, and does not move or scan any more, or complete the scan, it did work once and brought up codes in past, so brought anouther one, and it fails to get past 3 bars and freezes up.?
so, engine idle speed - any advice please.
u281 autoscanner - any reason why they wont get more than 3 bars up and give result?
