just got me a mk4 golf TDi 110 (S reg) On the way home it accelerates ok through the gears but when it gets to 80mph it lurches and bucks, hesitant, if i change down a gear this doesn't help.... I was also told it was smoking a lot if i try to accel hard..... when i bought it the lad said his garage told him there was water in the tank?? - dont know how true this is but would it cause this? My mate (works for a local garage) recons its a airlock in the fuel system again would this cause this problem>?
