Mark 4 Vw Golf Heaters Help

hi there i hae a 99 golf mark 4 gt tdi ,,, heaters were working and now have completely stopped dont blow out in any speeds ,,,,, i have been told it the brushes that are away is this correct also can someone tell me were heaters are and are they easy to change,,,,,, thanks

The blower motor for the heater is behind the glove box. Does the car have manual or electronic heater controls?

Then you need a new heater blower or brushes but IF it will not work on any speed and there is power to the motor.

i got told prob be brushes how hard are they to change the heater unit and are they easy i get to ,,, thanks

The motor is quite easy to get out once you have removed the glovebox. I only replace the motor, I have never replaced the bushes-apparently they are quite easy to do.
