Can anyone advise of an external hard disk that is compatible with the USB / AMI in the A5 - other than the ones that Audi list of course ? (my toshiba 2.5in in an IBM housing doesn't for instance)
I also have a creative Xen jukebox but think it needs a driver to work with the mini usb lead - unless anyone has other experience ?
Cheers
Ian

found (but can't find again !) a list of compatible disks from which I guess most will work if formatted FAT32 - my toshiba disk is NTFS and that is why it does not work.
Mem sticks work OK

WD Passport 160GB arrived today and is working fine with FAT32. It took a few minutes to recognise all the titles for 70GB worth of music and handled the three sub directory depth OK.
Noticed that the disk stayed live after I turned the car off. But I waiited 20 mins or so and checked again and it was asleep.
The need for playlists is even greater in order to manage that volume of music through the MMI
