Well I thought I would attempt to resolve the various woes on our MkV golf.
It needs a cambelt change (why VW don't use chains I find puzzling but there you go). It has also lost a lot of power whilst on holiday but strangely? remained very economical. I remember some low pressure boosted Saabs years ago which may explain the economy and I am interested in a geeky way to understand why it is behaving in this way?
