are the s2 and non s2 coupe shells the same?

hi,as above,just checking to see if the s2/quattro shells are the same as the non quattro ie are the wheel arches extended or do they share the same wings etc?

Apart from being quattro, the s2 shell is the same as the non quattro shell of the same year as far as I am aware.
What are you after?

just curious,my future plans may include such a conversion.obviously this depends on ease of the conversion but i love a challenge!!:biglaugh:

A 20v coupe quattro is "easy" to do the conversion on. I would look at putting a 1.8 20v turbo in there instead, it is lighter and can easily give 300bhp.
