vagcom needed

can any one help me i am looking for someone near to hartlepool in the northeast that has a vagcom that could help me i have a glowplug light flashing and i can only get half throttle. or can any one advise me on what i need to buy so i can plug it in and do it myself i am willing to let any one use it if some one tells me what to buy.

i am willing to buy one for the northeat becouse i think the northeast needs one becousai cant find any one up here with one so please help:aargh4:

You can download the software from www.ross-tech.com - the cable you buy depends on the car you have, but Ebay is littered with them. There are only two or three different cables, find a seller on Ebay who sells 'Vag Com cables', tell them what car you have and they will tell you which one you need.

Then at least you have the bits, software is free, cable is about £10
