Hiya,

Ever since I got my car it has had a couple of computer errors reported - the drive however is safe and sound, - no driving issues whatsoever.

The computer flashes the orange ABS light, and also flashes a picture on the monitor that I'm pretty sure is an error with the lights whenever I start the engine.

I download VAGCOM and ran a fault test on the ABS (I could not see how to check the lights, advice warmly received!)

The returned fault was
"1 Fault Found 00302 - ABS Solenoid Valve Relay (J106)
35-00 - -"

I'm glad the VAGCOM knows what the fault is, but it means nothing to me!

Could you please tell me how I either,
1. Disable the ABS and Lights error reporting on the car, so that it stops screaming at me and flashing the (!) sign.
or
2. Some advice on that the ABS problem is, and how I can fix it.

My rear fog lights don't work, so I'm guessing that they are the cause of the lights error, and I'll change the bulbs next weekend to find out. My mina concern in the ABS error, I really want to get rid of it!

Can anyone help me please? my car is an A4, 1994, 1.8 petroll, N registration.

I have an MOT coming up in February, will these flashing errors cause me to fail?

Please help! Many thanks in advance

Nathan
