Another newb looking for a simple A3 answer

Hi all :beerchug:, I'm looking at buying an A3 TDI around 51/02 plate. Seen a few nice ones around. Totally new to Audi so I will doubtless look a mug for asking.
I'm assuming there is a simple answer to how I will know if I am looking at a 100 110 130 BHP model without taking the owners word or even going and ragging the tyres off of it. Is there a simple clue in the engine number or something?

Hi all, just picked up a very nice black A3 TDI SE, apparently 101 BHP, Love it and very impressed with suade (spelling!!) seats. Feels so solid and a bargain as well.
