Can I change my A8 Rear lights ?

I have a 2006 A8 - and I do like the glow of the newer rear light clusters as seen on the 2008 A8 for example. I have attached a picture of what I mean. So is it a straight forward swap or do they have some extra electricals I would need to wire in ? also anyone know how much they cost ?

Its reckoned to be quite straightforwards, but £700! they do look nice, but that cost is pretty hard to take

btw I did come across this ad in german, although right now I simply don't have budget to change the back lights, price looked reasonable.

Its a better price, but still a big chunk of money for something I'll never see working ;)
