Hi guys

just a quick question and it might be really silly...

im looking to fit sat nav into my 05 a3,

just wondering is there any difference between the A4 Rns-E and the A3/S3 Version??

If you change the faceplate, yes.

Changing a faceplate is possible to make it fit.
The faceplate is the front of the unit, they are a different shape for the A3.
Buy a unit for an A3

Just joined this forum after selling my A3 earlier this week, I'm looking at getting a new A5, but I retrofitted a RNS-E and it was very simple. I replaced the Symphony II before selling so I have the complete Sat Nav package available for sale over on the Navplus (changed name since but is a great resource for retrofits) forum if you're interested;
