have you got this car yet ?? i was wondering what you thought of the adaptive air suspension ? and the multi gearbox. i am looking at a one year old car with similar spec (except its the 2.8FSI). thanks

Shudder tho think what that lot is costing you, must be more than my 2.7 Le Mans multi with Parking, DVD Nav, AMI (this is awesome) auto boot and Bluetooth.

Anyway, the Multi box, you need to be aware that they can be fragile when they get a few miles on them but not a problem if its in warranty. In use its VERY smooth and relaxing to drive but if you put it in 'manual' or use the paddles the changes are instant. Got to say though that if I had the choice I would swap it for a DSG / STronic like I had in my Passat.

It can be a bit hesitant when pulling away (not as bad as my DSG Passat) but when on the move kicks down very quickly.

Driving the 2.7 in 'manual' is a bit tricky because the engine is VERY VERY quiet and smooth and rev VERY quickly to the red line so you have to watch the rev counter to work out when to change.

If the 2.7 was petrol you would say it was exceptionally smooth but when you consider that its a TDI its astounding.

Downside is that that you can hardly detect a V6 growl and the best I can get out of it on a motorway run is 43mpg.

Still got to say its a fabulous car.
