hi guys

just got me a 2003 sport 130 tdi estate in met dark grey.

paint not too bad, but ive always been secretly into my car-cleaning.

Used to do it at a dealership when i was a kid!

ive got the following in my kit bag, and appreciate you knowledge on hear so after your thoughts before i attack her!

zymol shampoo
megs clay bar & detailer spray (used it on my red alfa 147 to good effect)
autoglym super resin polish (though got some megs stuff with the clay - i liked it)

always bn a fan of autoglym, but open to ideas as i realise its more of a sealer than a polish (I thik!)

any advice on metallic grays would be greatly received.

my camera is on the blink - but will get you some before and afters

I find you can't really go wrong with Auto Glym the majority of my cleaning kit is the aforementioned. I've also got some Auto Smart polishes, wheel cleaner etc. and some Meguiar's very light cut. ;)

Is you clay bar clean or are you going to re-use it? I wouldn't recommend re-using as you will most likely scratch your paintwork.

Take a look on www.elitedetailer.com , your autoglym super resin polish is pants and leaves that nasty chalk residue on rubbers if your not careful. You will also get a far better finish with Zaino. That I can guarantee as another guy from this forum found out recently! :beerchug:

Products I would recommend:

Zaino All In One (AIO) (http://www.elitedetailer.com/cgi-bin/hcat_catalogue.cgi?fa=display&id=17&crid=&cmrid=1&cmpid=2)

Zaino Z2 Pro (http://www.elitedetailer.com/cgi-bin/hcat_catalogue.cgi?fa=display&id=13&crid=&cmrid=1&cmpid=2)

Zaino Z-6 Ultra Clean Gloss Enhancer (http://www.elitedetailer.com/cgi-bin/hcat_catalogue.cgi?fa=display&id=10&crid=&cmrid=1&cmpid=2)

It will outshine, provide way more protection, and see you through winter protection easy.

The above will last you ages, as in a couple of minimum!

any questions, please ask.
