Changed Battery... Need help

Just changed the battery on my 2004 a3 s line. Now the electric windows won't wind up or down using the remote keyfob.. Is there an easy resolution and could anything else have gone wrong.

Get in the car wind the windows down and back up keeping your finger on the switch and see if that makes any difference.
