New Beetle turn indicators not flashing

The turn indicators show a steady orange light instead of flashing. I am assuming it is a faulty Indicator Relay. Can anyone confirm this possibility and also tell me where it is located -please. The car is about year 2000.

The relay is in the hazard switch which means removing the centre trim. Occasionally it is a faulty stalk but normally the hazard switch.

That was quicky spotted. Many thanks. Is it a big job to remove the centre trim?. Daughter's car, mine's a Golf.

Not too bad, radio out (tools required) and about half an hour.
