cant find the coolant temp. sensor.

Can anyone tell me where to find the coolant temperature sensor on a 51 reg 1.4 leon?
I've referred to loads of threads on here but still cant find it. (cant see the wood for the trees, springs to mind lol)

look along coolant pipes for a round sensor with a clip through it, think most vw's are gonna be the same as seats, it'll be near the head on a plastic outlet pipe. when you find it, with engine warm, unplug it an see if temp gauge drops to zero if its a dual sensor, hope this helps?

look below the distrubitor cap it is on the right hand side of the engine it is held in with a plastic clip easy to change

hi all
i changed one on my dads leon 1.4 52 reg today the new one cost £30 ,easy to change a bit harder to refill the system due to air locks ..
although the engine managment light is on but the car runs ok does anyone know how to rest the light please...
