my existing dunlop sport sp2000 are due for renewal. i have never been confident driving my bora 130pd in the wet due to the tyres having no grip and lots of understeer on roundabouts.

i am looking for a tyre that will be good in the wet and suitable to the odd occurance of snow we get in this country. i guess the handling in the wet is the most important.

what tyres would you recommend?

cheers

If you don't mind paying the price Eagle F1's are the best by far. ;)

Currently very happy with Toyo Proxes CF1's on my Golf 2.0GT TDi having moved from Bridgestone Potenza's for a bit of a change and having saved £25-30 per tyre.

Either Bridgestone's or Continental Sport Contacts.

thanks for the replies. it seems that i have a few choices. reviews of the toyo's seem to be good. someone else has mentioned continentals to me and they were good on my old car, so i will see what my tyre fitter can do for me.

cheers
