Hello again,
My sunroof has recently started clicking just before opening or closing, as if the drive cord is slipping in against the drive worm.
I have given it is as good a lube as I can (probably abit overdue!)... but the problem hasnt gone away.
There doesnt seem to be any cumulative slip as the timing hasn't drifted. (It opens and closes to the right position).
Anybody know what the likely repair is likely to be, and whether it can be done oneself. Anybody have any experience of removing the interior roof trim (presumably this is necessary)? Any guides to servicing sunroof available on the web? Is this a really awful job that is best avoided!?
