Have a passat going back to lease company tommorrow and just realised that just above the numberplate, on the right hand side only, some of the 'chrome sliders' are not embedded within the grill section but lay on top of it.
I cant understand why they are out of position and am trying to work out if the dealer I had the car serviced with needed to move the grill section and had not fitted the grill section back properly? The same dealer also acted on a recall notice (think it had something to do with the gears but could be wrong) and i wonder if that could have been the reason for moving the grill.
No doubt the lease company will charge me for this repair and im trying to work out how it happened or whether it could be possible that it arrived to me new like this. I wouldnt have spotted this on its arrival.
Does anyone know if i would be able to remove/loosen the grill so I can reposition the sliders?
