I usually get circa 590 to 650 miles to a tank.

Display says I average 49.4mpg over last few thousand miles.

I have had runs where display says I am getting over 60mpg for the trip, but more usual it says 47 on short trips, 49-50some on my commute.

I get around the 600 mile mark on a full tank on mixed driving but it seems to have dropped off a little in the past month...have they switched to the winter fuel now? I'm doing a longer drive this weekend so should get a better feel.

600-620 i get, 60 miles a day, 50 miles of a roads and roundabout (bloody telford) then little windy lane and a few miles town driving, always see more than 50mpg no matter how i drive, sometimes see into the 70's average on a slow run. highest was 77.9 :beerchug:

afn all the way, didnt realise till after i'd bought one that they were the best, bring it on guys, 143hp+ out of a 110 for the last 9k and still making a mockery of faster cars, latest victim, jaguar diesel, he gave up after 4th gear, i embarrassed him a lot. he saw the red i and shook his head, i wagged my finger at him and he nodded :biglaugh: glorified mondeo tdci

You can't beat an Upsoluted 110.
I had one of the first done.
The guys came over to GTI intl. and done about 20 over the weekend,
they even helped get the ECU out.

cant beat it for service, simon coe came to my house, took the ecu out, soldered chips on, put it back in, test drove it, scanned for faults etc, no faults from ecu removal etc. job done. very pleased with it.

got the car with 64k with fsh in may, had cam belt done straight away, serviced at 67k, due for one in next couple of weeks, including coolant change.

2004 130 tdi 52-55 mpg extra urban

Danesgate

Over a few thousand miles of mixed A & B roads I got 49mpg.

Did everyone realise that the 6th gear on my 2003 Sport is still lower than the 5th on the other models - so despite having an extra cog, the 5 speed should be more economical at a constant speed in top.

Spinal Tap "goes to volume 11" springs to mind

What chip would be worthwhile in a 2003 130TDI Sport? (ie what benefits might I see?)

Cheers

Truely great cars btw - rather sadly, my wife has one the same...:Blush2:

Ive got a 2001 130 tdi Passat, its got 143000 on the clock and running extra urban between Truro and Plymouth I get 61 mpg.So I am quite happy with it.
I am not hanging around either,at times doing 80-90 mph.
