Help!!! Indicator fault

Hi, My 2002 A4 1.9tdi has developed a fault on the indicators. The R/H side unit fails to flash and it shows the bulb is us on the DIS. When the hazards are used the DIS shows the left hand bulb has failed but it works. Any Idea's please???:1zhelp:

But for those of you who may be interested i traced the fault to a multi plug in the car, behind the panel near the throttle pedal. There was a small bit of corrosion on the contacts, once cleaned all is well again. :Blush:
