transfering mileage from old dash panel!

Hi , Im just wondering how to transfer the milage of an old dash panel (lcd is not visable!) We fitted a new dash panel but want to put origional miles on the new clock! Its 1995 tdi vento 66kw manual! last recorded reading was over the ton! Any help would be appreciated! As far as I know theres no diagnostic connection with the dash panel in these models? :1zhelp: Please

There is dash conection and it will comunicate with the instruments. The only thing, it would need either soldering wires and updating the mileage under dos with Tachopro or you can desolder the main eeprom chip and carefully solder onto new cluster...
