1994 Audi 100 Saloon 2.5TDi Fuel Consumption

Im just wondering whether anyone has access to the official fuel economy figures from this model? Mainly looking for the combined or whatever the equivalent was in the past figure.

If not, what kind of economy are people with this car getting?

All the manufacturers figures are in the handbook as I recall.

Real world ecconomy is 45+ Mpg. I used to have one 140Bhp AEL engine and it would do over 1000 miles on a tank ! The best car i had so far...Only costed me 2 bushes in 5 years of ownership.

Sounds promising. I dont own one and cant find the handbook on the internet. Parkers dont list any mpg figures for this model/engine either and Im looking at possibly buying one. Just needed some fuel economy figures to compare to other large comfy diesel cars Ive been looking at.

as my user name hints, I too own a 2.5 tdi 140, (6 speed). I regularly get 800+ miles from a tank, and thats with it being chipped.
Great car, 2nd a6 tdi I've had, and miles better than the AAT engined A6, although thats still a great car.( I once saw 72.5 mpg on the fuel computer at a run at 60mph)
