Independant servicing, Edinbirgh area?

Hi folks, sorry for asking what is probably a dumb question :confused:, but can anyone recommend a good, reliable garage in the Edinburgh area. My 2000 A4, 1.9Tdi has gone all wheezy and asthmatic recently. My local garage began spouting rubbish about the Turbo being gummed up [I removed and checked it, and it's as clean as a shiny, whistling thing], and I would like a second opinion as to where the fault[s] lie.

I can highly recommend Hunters of Linlithgow they have VAG techs and all the equiment but charge reasonable prices and are up front with everything. I've heard decent things about Deutsch Marque near Gilmerton.

How did you get on with the Audi guys in Gilmerton? I am looking for an indie in Edinburgh too. I seached and found Bellingham Motors in Broughton but I guess anyone can advertise themselves as an Audi specialist

Ally, by strange coincedence I never got round to calling anyone, what with being busy at work and the fact that since I posted the original question, the car has been behaving :confused: .
When the problem reappears, as I am sure it will, I will give them a call.
