Forge Turbo Spacer

Does anyone know the purpose of a Forge FMFSITR Spacer? Is it like a dump value and does anyone know what it sounds like? :o I'm thinking of getting one but not sure what it's really for.

From a quick look through the net it looks exactly as it sounds. A spacer. An adapter to fit the 2.0TFSI VAG engine.

TBH, if you don't know what it's for, don't buy it. You'll end up with all sorts of junk that way.
